Joe Burrow is undoubtedly one of the best QBs in the NFL, and he proved it early on in his career. After all, the Bengals star reached the Super Bowl in his sophomore season.

It is a feat that many great QBs in the league are still yet to accomplish, and recently, Burrow opened up about it. Speaking to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the 29-year-old broke down his performance against Los Angeles.

He claimed that while he played "fine," he did not play well enough to warrant either him or his team beating Matthew Stafford and the Rams.

"I just didn’t play well enough. I mean, I played well. But not well enough to win a Super Bowl against Matthew Stafford."

It's been approximately four years now, and a lot has changed about Burrow. He's more mature, understands the game better, and some would say even has a better team around him.

It will be exciting to see what the Bengals have in store for this season and if Joe Cool can take them back to the promised land.

Speaking of the promised land, Joe Burrow already has it on his mind. A few months ago, he was asked about the Bengals' Super Bowl hopes.

In classic Burrow fashion he responded with a cool, calm, and confident demeanor. He acknowledged that the team is in better position, but made it clear that the number one priority is winning.

"Definitely. I think the number one thing is you have to win, and we're gonna win a lot of games this year. Play great, and win a Super Bowl."

The goal is clear for the Bengals this season. Win games, and potentially, hoist the Lombardi.
