Joe Burrow, Bengals sent urgent verdict on their Super Bowl window

The Cincinnati Bengals have long been viewed as top Super Bowl contenders, but their championship window is rapidly closing. Despite boasting the elite trio of Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins, Cincinnati has shockingly missed the playoffs for three consecutive seasons. Now, the team is getting a reality check about their Super Bowl chances.
In an Instagram post by Bleacher Report's Gridiron, where they talked about which teams’ Super Bowl window was open or closed, the Bengals were given 1-6 years. This means that while the Bengals are still in contention, they don’t have much time.
For this upcoming season, the Bengals have a lot of expectations. Running back Chase Brown is coming off his best year after rushing for 1,019 yards and six touchdowns while also recording 437 receiving yards and five touchdowns. They have also traded for defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence to help improve a defense that ranked 30th in the league.
They also further improved their interior presence by adding Jonathan Allen while also signing safeties Bryan Cook and Kyle Dugger. The team also signed edge rusher Boye Mafe from last season’s Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks.
The Bengals’ offense has always been one of the best, but it will be important to have their stars stay healthy, especially Burrow. It now remains to be seen if their defense can match them and take them to the Super Bowl.

Joe Burrow is not thinking about getting back to the playoffs. He is thinking about February in Inglewood.
Speaking to reporters after a voluntary workout in Cincinnati on May 20, the Bengals quarterback made his ambitions as clear as they could possibly be.
"We're going to go win a lot of games this year and play great and win a Super Bowl," Burrow said as per ESPN. "I think this is the most talented roster that we've had since I've been here. And that includes the 2021 squad that reached Super Bowl LVI.”
Furthermore, Burrow noted that all major additions have been present for voluntary workouts, a detail that signals genuine buy-in from a roster that has underperformed for three straight years.
