The Cincinnati Bengals face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7, with Trey Hendrickson now lining up against his former team.

Tee Higgins addressed Hendrickson's presence when speaking to reporters after practice ahead of Sunday's game. His answer reflected both their personal connection and the challenge of facing off against him:

“That's my guy, man. I hope he do well, but I hope he don't. Does that make sense?"

Higgins then made clear that his competitive instincts do not diminish the respect he has for the Ravens pass rusher:

"I’ve got the utmost respect for Trey. He always been good to me, so I got a lot of respect for him.”

The comments captured Higgins' position ahead of the divisional matchup. He wants Hendrickson to do well, but not at Cincinnati's expense. Their history as teammates adds a personal dimension to Sunday's contest, even as Higgins and the Bengals focus on securing a win.

Trey Hendrickson's Ravens move sets up a reunion with the Bengals

Trey Hendrickson joined the Baltimore Ravens after five seasons with Cincinnati. His move placed the veteran pass rusher with an AFC North rival and set up a Week 7 meeting with his former team.

Hendrickson became a key part of the Bengals' defense. Now, he will face an offense that includes players he shared a locker room with in Cincinnati.

The reunion adds another storyline to Sunday's divisional matchup, with both teams looking to gain ground in the AFC North.
