Bengals overcome late Dolphins rally to secure Week 5 win

Cincinnati followed the pregame moment with a 31-24 victory over Miami, snapping a two-game losing streak and improving to 3-2.

Joe Burrow threw four touchdown passes, while safety Jordan Battle intercepted Malik Willis twice in the first half. Tee Higgins and the Bengals offense helped Cincinnati build its advantage before the Dolphins mounted a late comeback.

The Bengals held a 28-10 lead in the third quarter, but Miami made things interesting with two touchdowns in the final period. Cincinnati ultimately stopped the comeback by recovering the Dolphins’ late onside kick, securing the win before heading into its bye week.

Cincinnati will now look to build on this hard-fought victory after showing it can withstand pressure and close out a tight game.
