The Cincinnati Bengals have never won a Super Bowl. For Bryan Cook, changing that would mean more than just another championship.

Speaking with FOX19’s Jeremy Rauch on Bengals NOW, the Cincinnati native explained why the possibility moves him. Despite winning two Super Bowls with Kansas City, Cook sees a title with his hometown team differently.

He explained that winning in Cincinnati would fulfill a childhood dream and allow him to share a historic moment with the die-hard fans who are always behind the team:

“But to be a kid and live out that dream, and have the opportunity to bring a Super Bowl here that's never been done before in history. It would mean more to me than anybody else could know. [..] But to see the laughter and the joy on everybody in here's face, knowing that, 'Hey, we've been a part of that, because you all are a part of this.' We can't do it without the love and support.”

For Cook, winning a Super Bowl with Cincinnati remains his ultimate goal, outweighing any individual accolade he could achieve.

Bengals star earns captaincy in first season with Cincinnati

Bryan Cook arrived in Cincinnati after winning consecutive Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022 and 2023. His experience at the highest level gave the Bengals a proven championship winner in their secondary.

Cook quickly earned the trust of his new teammates and became a captain in his first season with Cincinnati following a player vote. The honor puts him in a leadership role as he pursues a third Super Bowl ring, this time with his hometown team.

Now, Cook hopes to turn that championship experience into the breakthrough Cincinnati has chased throughout its history.
