The Cincinnati Bengals got some disappointing injury news just hours before their first game of the season. The Bengals start their season on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

We got a worrying injury report on Friday after cornerback DJ Turner was added to the injury report as "limited" with a hamstring issue.

We don't yet know the extent of the injury but it's not expected to be serious. It remains unclear if DJ Turner will play on Sunday.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow confident ahead of new season

Joe Burrow sounds confident heading into the new season. Speaking ahead of the new season, Joe Burrow said he was happy with the additions the Bengals made in the offseason:

"I think the number of veterans we brought in this offseason certainly elevated the cultural dynamic in the locker room. I think the vibe is great right now. Dexter. Jonathan Allen, Bryan Cook, Boye… Some team cohesion has been missing over the last few years, and bringing in veterans like that, who've been there, done that, built those cultures and know what's needed, really helped us."

The biggest among the new names if DT Dexter Lawrence. The Bengals traded their first round pick in the Draft to acquire him from the Giants during the offseason.
